* The diagram "Europe" excludes Baltic states, Russia and Ukraine (shown separately). 17.05.2010: LASERTRON COMES TO WESTERN EUROPE
New laser tag arena equipped with 40-pack LaserTron LT-11.5 system opens in Sankt-Pölten, Austria. Before, the manufacturer of the premium-class laser tag equipment - American LaserTron, Inc. - was primarily focusing at the US and Canadian markets (they have about 110 LaserTron arenas currently in operation there), not paying much attention to Europe (with only one LaserTron site in operation there - in St.-Petersburg, Russia). The opening of the new LaserTron site in Austria may mean that European market is becoming more attractive for the US laser tag manufacturers. Besides, this new arena may be a good evidence of liberalization of the public opinion in Austrian Republic itself - where laser tag has been not so popular so far (probably, due to the archaistic and properly-understood-by-nobody legal norms prohibiting classic types of laser tag in neighbouring Germany). Please, Read more » about laser tag sites in Austria.
