JAPANESE ROBOTS PLAY LASER TAG!
Robots-Dreams.com informs about creation of a super robot laser tag game system, named "Blaser": Japanese Company HotProceed has mounted a small laser on the right arm of a KHR-1HV robot and a sensor in the robot's chest. You can move the laser up, down, and side to side using the analog joystick control. If your robot is hit, that automatically triggers a preprogrammed routine for it to fall down. After a few seconds, your robot can get up and resume play. However, if you're hit more than three to five times, the robot thinks it's dead and you have probably lost the competition. The Blaser system supports up to 16 players at a time, usually divided into two teams with 8 robots each. Please, Read more » |

The first international entertainment exhibition EAAPA-2008 (EurAsian Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo) was held at IEC Crocus-Expo in Moscow from March 24 till March 26, 2008. The Russian laser tag distributors were talking about grand opening of the second Lazer Runner arena in Russia within a couple of months. Besides, as a result of the exhibition there are good chances that two new Nexus arenas may be opened in Russia soon. And we are waiting for opening of another 3 or 4 Laser Club arenas (in Russia and abroad), as well. |
