Following the idea of using small toy tanks for battle simulating with the help of laser tag technology inroduced by American Plantraco Ltd. in 2004, British company Tank Command Ltd. presented an enhanced version of it - "...a unique, fun and original activity and team game". Tank Command uses a fleet of radio controlled tanks (Tiger Mk1's along with Shermans), all of which are produced by a company called Tamiya (a world renowned producer of top quality radio controlled models). Each tank fires a harmless infra-red beam upto 35 metres allowing some long range shooting or close quarter shoot-outs. Each time your tank is hit, lights on the turret mounted battle systems flash to let you know, the first hit will slow your tank to half speed, the second will slow you down to 1/4 speed, and the third hit will knock your tank out of action for 10 - 15 seconds, after which, you tank will restart with full power and the battle resumes!
